Abu Simbel is a super big temple built by Ramesses 2, located near Aswan. This picture are significantly reduced the distance between a small status and Ramesses 2. The small status represent his beloved daughter. I have purposely taken it this way to highlight his daughter against the huge status.
John Warton's comments:
The subject matter looks even larger due to the low angle. Your
exposure is about one stop too dark. Because of the brighter subject matter,
you need to use exposure compensation or manual controls for a good exposure. Please
make sure you follow the rules and guidelines by submitting the largest
dimension of the photo at a maximum of 800 pixels. Thank you for sharing with
the community.
