This was taken toward the end of the day. the sun was getting low in the sky and a beam of sunlight came through the trees an lit his dinner plate.

The lighting is soft and beautiful on the pigeon. It would be more powerful if the pigeon filled more of the screen. Please submit your picture next time with the largest dimension at 800 pixels. Thank you for competing with the Photo Challenge.
