Arizona Biltmore Resort |
|
| Visited the Biltmore Resort this past year, AMAZING. Such a great place to stay. Was built in the late 1920's! Only one of the hotels existing that Frank Lloyd Wright consulted as architect. Lots of great things to learn here not to mention beautiful resort.... |

Viaducto de Millau |
|
| The Millau Viaduct was offially opened on December 14,2004 and at the time was the highest in the world.
The tallest of the pillars stands at 1,125 feet which is 62 feet higher than the Eiffel Tower and only 125 foot shorter than the empire state building and at a length that stretches almost 1.6 miles long.
A magnificent piece of Architecture by British architect Norman Foster and structural engineer Michel Virlogeux.

St. Louis Arch |
|
| The St.Louis Arch stands proudly against steely cold gray skies as rain soaked metal reflects efforts of an autumn sun to break through the clouds. Embracing a path to America's west, this magnificent structure is called the "Gateway to the West." Inside the top of the arch reads a plaque noting we are now at 630 ft. An underground theater shows the building of this architectural wonder.Constructed before OSHA standards, safety belts were not worn on the project, yet not one man was lost in its creation. Photo taken in late afternoon under stormy conditions. |

The Underground Railroad Museum |
|
| This photo was taken in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The day started beautiful and sunny and this is when I noticed how interesting the storm clouds that were moving in overhead of the museum.
I chose this angle because it leads you right up to the heavens.
This image was taken with a Canon digital rebel with wide angle lens equipped with a polarizer filter to smoothe the window reflections and further enhance the clouds.
